About Legacy Health Institute

Legacy Health Institute is the health education and training program of Liberty York, LLC. Through Legacy Community Doula Foundations, we prepare students for community-based doula support, birth and postpartum education, documentation readiness, and professional practice standards.Our approach centers dignity, clarity, cultural sensitivity, trauma-informed care, and referral readiness. Students are trained to support families without replacing licensed medical, mental health, lactation, legal, or emergency professionals.

Legacy Community Doula Foundations gives students a clear, structured place to start.This training introduces the heart, skill, ethics, and boundaries of community doula support — including pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum recovery, newborn care, feeding support, family support, trauma-informed care, and professional practice.

Welcome to Legacy Health Institute

Legacy Health Institute was created to prepare community doulas who serve with dignity, clarity, cultural sensitivity, and professionalism.This is not informal support. This is structured training for students who want to support families responsibly during one of the most important transitions of life.

No prior doula experience is required.
